TERRA NOVA
During the week of March 8th, the 2nd through 7th Grade students will be taking this very important test. Terra Nova compares your child with other children the same age in the U.S.A. Please make sure that your child gets enough rest on the nights before the test. It is very important that your child is present each day of the test.
RE-REGISTRATION
It is time once again to start thinking of your plans for your child's education for next year. Registration packets will be distributed during Catholic, Schools Week and you can register at any time after that. Efforts again will be-made to provide time in the evenings to discuss your plans and answer any questions that you might have about the registration process.
RULES
I have noticed that many of the rules are being broken. Please pay attention to the following rules:
CLASS TRIPS
Through the Tri-County Scholarship Fund, we have been offered two trips for our students. On Monday, March 22nd the 5th through 8th Grade students will enjoy a program called MVP which highlights the life of Jackie Robinson, a famous African-American baseball player. On Wednesday, March 24th, the 1st through 8th Grade will go to see a program called Mathimagician which will introduce them to fun concepts in Math. Both these programs are in Morristown Community Theatre. THEY ARE FREE OF CHARGE. The children will get a brown bag lunch from school containing a sandwich, chips and juice.
On Friday, March 26th the 8th Grade will go to Villa Walsh in Morristown to see "Beauty and the Beast"
SCHOOL CLOSINGS
Please remember that if you change your number to let school know so that we can update the Honeywell System. Also check Channel 7 and Channel 12 for information about Blessed Sacrament School on bad weather days.
BREAKFAST AND LUNCH
This continues to be a very successful addition to what the school has to offer. I
would encourage you, as the mornings get colder, to continue to send the older
students to school early enough for breakfast. It definitely has made the children
more alert and more involved in class. Thank you for all of your support.
